Sturgill Simpson is back under a new alter ego, headlining the Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds tour, officially named Mutiny For The Masses.
Starting on September 4, 2026, Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds will play across the United States and Canada, hitting major cities like Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, and Chicago.
This run is his first under the new moniker, promoting his album Mutiny After Midnight. With no opening acts, Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds will play massive sets nightly. Tickets use a face-value exchange to prevent scalping. Separate from the regular shows, there are currently no festival appearances scheduled for this run.
